Founded in 2016, we’ve celebrated our success, helping businesses to grow by connecting them with the best talent across South Wales. We’ve helped hundreds of businesses and as a result we have developed a deep understanding of what companies need to deliver in our specialist fields.

Because of this, we came up with our talent management solution in 2018 – taking the headache out of the recruitment process with our managed service offering.

Meet the Team


Founder & Director

Chris has experience of recruiting across permanent temporary and fixed term solutions. He works closely with businesses to fully understand their recruitment requirements and to resource candidates with the right mix of technical skills.

Chris is the lead consultant at Vargo Recruitment, he is a psychology graduate with 15 years recruitment experience across Accountancy & Finance, Information Technology, Business Intelligence and Project & Change Management.

Chris started his recruitment career working for a FTSE 250 recruitment business. He was successfully promoted on a number of occasions and was responsible for winning a number of large customer accounts and recruitment campaigns.

Areas of Expertise:

Recruiting white collar professionals across finance, systems and projects.

Chris has recruited across a large variety of industry sectors and for a range of business sizes from FTSE 100 companies to small SME organisations.



Senior Consultant

Jen has worked in recruitment for over 13 years across a range of specialisms.

Areas of Expertise:

Jen recruits for part and newly qualified accountants across practice and industry.
Jen deals predominantly with candidates studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA, and those looking for their first move from practice.

Having worked within the recruitment for over 13 years, Jen has a sound understanding of matching candidate skills to client requirements.



Business Director

Tom is an experienced, highly focused Recruiter with specialisms in Executive Search, Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand Building. He has built senior leadership teams across a range of sectors, grown entire recruitment functions from scratch, built careers hubs and websites, implemented applicant tracking systems, defined end-to-end talent attraction processes and established long-term, sustainable talent streams.

Tom’s strengths lie in finding very small needles in very large haystacks, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills, a strong commercial mindset and the ability to add tangible value in every business, team or project he is a part of.
